1J46 High Permeability Soft Magnetic Alloy is a soft magnetic alloy with a medium nickel content, ranging from 45.0% to 46.5%. Nickel is the main element in this alloy. The nickel content of approximately 45% results in a face-centered cubic (FCC) austenitic structure at room temperature, providing the structural basis for high magnetic permeability and higher saturation magnetic induction. Its resistivity is 0.45 μΩ·m, which is a medium value among nickel-iron alloys, helping to suppress eddy currents in alternating magnetic fields; its density is 8.2 g/cm³, a key parameter for calculating the mass of electromagnetic components, consistent with its nickel content; and its saturation magnetostriction coefficient is 25 × 10⁻⁶, ensuring stability during the magnetization process.
