N6 Industrial Grade Pure Nickel is a high-purity metal primarily used to address issues of "strong corrosion, high stress, and variable temperatures" in large-scale industrial production. N6 contains trace elements such as 0.10% iron, 0.10% silicon, and 0.05% manganese, which are not simply "impurities," but rather contribute to a slight solid-solution strengthening effect. Compared to the extremely soft characteristics of N4, the crystal lattice of N6, due to the presence of these trace atoms, exhibits better creep resistance while maintaining high ductility. The core of N6 Industrial Grade Pure Nickel's quality lies in the control of sulfur (S) and phosphorus (P). In the N6 standard, the sulfur content is controlled to below 0.005% to prevent the formation of low-melting-point eutectics.
