Nimonic alloy 80A (UNS N07080/W.Nr. 2.4952 & 2.4631) is precipitable hardening alloy, it has excellent tensile properties at high temperatures
(up to 815 °C). It is used for gas turbine components (blades, rings, and discs), bolts, nuclear boiler tube supports, die casting inserts and cores, and for automobile exhaust valves. The exhaust valves of diesel engines for ships and tanks are mainly forged from Nimonic 80A. Nimonic 80A has high heat resistance and high strength at high temperatures. The deformation resistance is large, which increases the difficulty of forging. It is suitable for the manufacture of bolts and gas valves for combustion chambers.
